Learn Mathematics by using Maple

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...
Hello and assalamualaikum!

This is the first week we learn Computer in Science with Madam Aslinda.
So we would like to introduce ourselves to all of you.

Our owner for this blog is Muhammad Anas bin Mustafa while this blog is also operated by :

  • Muhammad Farhan Faris bin Khairol Salleh (THE MOST HANDSOME GUY IN THIS BLOG)
  • Muhamad Anwar bin Yunus (A KEDAHAN)
  • Mohammad Fairuz bin Mohd Zulkefli (A YOUNG FIGHTER)
Fairuz, Anas, Anwar, Faris

Before the class with Madam Aslinda, we have finished studying a part of Computer in Science with Sir Abduaziz Omer about 7 weeks. We learned about how to use Maple as it is useful for our studies as we are taking Computational and Theoretical Science.

As we take Calculus 1 for this semester, we found out that Maple is advantageous to us as it help to perform Mathematics calculations.

Now, as a little bit introduction about Maple.

Maple is a commercial computer algebra system developed and sold commercially by Maplesoft, a software company based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The current major version is version 18, which was released in March 2014.
It was first developed in 1980 by the Symbolic Computation Group at the University of Waterloo. In 1988, Maplesoft (then known as Waterloo Maple Inc.) was founded to commercialize the technology. (wikipedia)
For your information, Maple inputs are difference than normal Mathematics inputs for most of its functions .

Mathematics Input
Operation
Maple Input
dy/dx = x2+4x
Differentiation
diff(x^2+4*x,x);
Factorize x6-1
Factoring
factor(x^6-1);
Simplify x2-16
Simplify
simplify(x^2-16);

One of the basic functions of Maple is plotting a graph.

Plotting 2D graph

We can easily plot any graph, either 3-Dimension or 2-Dimension.

Basically, Maple is very important for CTS students to help them do the Mathematics Calculations. It will ease their works, thus insha Allah they will strive for flying colors in the exam. (Y)

Goodbye, have a good day! XOXO
